Overview

Njägh-átlo Xluwuf was founded durring the late 16th century in summer of the year 1480, by Ênhe. The establishment of Njägh-átlo Xluwuf was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Ênhe electing to pay people to resettle in Njägh-átlo Xluwuf.

Njägh-átlo Xluwuf was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Njägh-átlo Xluwuf is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Njägh-átlo Xluwuf is buildings are arranged arround a single broad cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Unfortuantly, these exceptionaly well made fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Njägh-átlo Xluwuf is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the city like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.
